What can I expect to see during the Fuerteventura sightseeing tour?
The sightseeing tour of Fuerteventura starts on the eastern side of the island of Fuerteventura in Castillo and heads towards our first stop, the famous el faro de la entallada.

Here you can take in the beautiful sights of the majestic and iconic Fuerteventura lighthouse, which is 105ft tall and located on a stunning and picturesque cliffside! It is also at this point that the canaries are situated the closest to Africa, at just a mere 100 km away. There is also a well equipped and informative museum with interactive displays and artifacts related to the functioning of the lighthouse as well as the history of its construction in 1953.
Tour the village of Ajuy in Fuerteventura
The next stop on the Fuerteventura sightseeing tour involves visiting the historic Ajuy, situated on the western more rugged coast of Fuerteventura. This small but quaint village allows us to journey back to the island's origins through the most famous caves of Fuerteventura. These spectacular caves are estimated to be centuries old and are the oldest formations in all of the Canary islands! The village is also known for its volcanic, black sandy beaches with ‘playa de los muertos’ (‘Beach of the dead’) to name but one!

From here we will be able to admire a wide variety of scenery as we overlook the green valley of Betancuria, the high volcanic peaks and the rolling hills that this landscape has to offer. A truly breathtaking sight to see.
Fuerteventura’s old capital Betancuria/Mirador Guise y Ayose
The next part of the sightseeing tour offers a scenic route to the town of Betancuria, which being the old capital of Fuerteventura, offers an enormous historical and cultural insight as well as exhibiting its beautiful and traditional canarian architecture, again, bringing us back through time.
Casillas and lunch break
