Jet2 increases it's lead over TUI as the UKs top tour operator with an additional 850,000 seats creating a total of 6.7 million seats for the summer of 2024.
Both holiday companies have requested an increase in seats, protected by ATOL insurance, with TUI UK securing an additional 522,000 seats bringing their total to 5.9 million.
ATOL is a compensation scheme designed to protect customers who book a holiday package from the risk of the tour operator or airline going bankrupt.
