With a large settlement of Irish Nationals in Lanzarote, St Patrick's day celebrations are always a grand occasion. And in Puerto del Carmen, a favourite holiday resort amongst Irish Holidaymakers, you'll find the biggest 17th March celebrations on the island.
If you're in Lanzarote around the 17th March then one thing you won't want to miss out on is the St Patrick's celebrations in Puerto del Carmen. The main celebrations can be found in the old town harbour, and include food and drink stalls and live music throughout the day and evening.
And everyone is welcome. You don't have to be Irish to celebrate St Patrick's day in Lanzarote, and year after year residents and holidaymakers from different nationalities come together to eat, drink and be merry.
