Cruise Excursions Lanzarote South Tour
If you're on a cruise ship that docks in Lanzarote, an exclusive shore excursion is a great way to maximise your time on land and experience some of the best places in the south of the island. If you're travelling in a group they are also a cost effective way of getting out and about with a local tour guide and local expert, taking you to all the best places in the south of Lanzarote whilst your ship is docked.
Private Shore Excursion South Tour
An exclusive VIP Cruise Excursion of Lanzarote is the easiest and most effective way to see the best spots in the south of the island when you arrive by cruise ship. This cruise ship tour can accommodate up to 8 people. For 1-4 guests you'll experience the tour in a 4x4 Jeep and with 4-8 guests the Lanzarote shore excursion will be carried out in the comfort of a mini van. You'll be in the knowledgable hands of a local expert tour guide who will be on hand to answer any questions you have during the excursion.
The guided Shore Excursions are specifically designed and tailored for Cruise Ship guests. You'll be collected from just oustside the Cruise Terminal and the tours are tailored to ensure you arrive back at your ship in plenty of time for departure, whilst seeing some of the best places in Lanzarote.
Your tour guide will make a plan that suites everyone and advise on the best places to see in the time available for your cruise ship, they will tell you what attractions you can see for free and also what have an entrance price and you can decide what is best for you all.
Visit the very best attractions in Lanzarote
This Lanzarote Cruise Ship Excursion is the best way to see the top attractions on the island. You'll experience the stunning, yet humbling, volcanic landscape of The Timanfaya National Park, the tasty wine region of La Geria and many charming Canarian villages en-route. You can either tailor the excursion to see areas of the island that are of interest to you, or rely on the knowledge of your tour guide to take you to the most popular places.
An Example Cruise Excursion Itinerary could be as follows
The Wine Region of La Geria
You might not know, but Lanzarote is famous for its wine. That's right. Even though the climate is dry, farmers and wine producers have found ways to cultivate grapes and produce some of the most delicious wine we've ever tasted. We'd highly recommend taking a trip to the wine region of La Geria and visiting a Bodega where you can learn all about the wine creation process and sample a bottle or two. And why not purchase a couple of bottles to enjoy on your return home?
The Village of El Golfo and El Lago Verde
At first glance, you can be forgiven for thinking that El Golfo is just another sleepy Canarian village on the coast. But on closer inspection you'll discover El Lago Verde. This lake, green in appearance, sits in the bottom of half a volcano and gets it's colours from the mineral of the surround rocks. It's a sight to behold and makes for a perfect photo opportunity whilst here in Lanzarote.
Lunch Stop
If you're feeling hungry then why not take a stop off for lunch and sample some typically Canarian gastronomical delights. There is no strict lunch schedule on the Cruise Excursions but your guide will be able to recommend some great places to stop for a bite to eat. Quick tip; there are some amazing restaurants in El Golfo! (LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE)
The Timanfaya National Park
The Timanfaya National Park is a place that everyone who comes to Lanzarote should visit. This area of the island was divested by volcanic activity, and geothermal activity can still be experienced today through Geyser and Fire demonstrations. You'll also see the volcanic grill at the El Diablo restaurant where food is cooked using the heat from the volcano, just meters below the surface ENTRANCE PRICE NOT INCLUDED.
Camel Rides in The Timanfaya National Park
Whilst visiting the Timanfaya National Park you can stop off for an optional Camel Ride. Each camel can accommodate two people and will take you on a guided tour of the paths that wind through a section of the park. It's a must do experience when in Lanzarote! PRICE NOT INCLUDED
Exploring the South of the Island of Lanzarote
The south of the island is a great place to explore once you've docked in Lanzarote. And with a private tour guide you don't need to worry about where to go, how to get there or getting back to your ship in time for departure. Please note that entrance to the attractions is not included in the price of the shore excursions.
