Lanzarote to La Graciosa Ferry
The Ferry from Lanzarote to La Graciosa departs from Orzola several times a day (check the schedule depending on the time of year). If you're staying in one of the main Lanzarote Holiday resorts then Orzola is quite a way to travel, so if you don't have a hire care it can be tricky to get there. Here at TravelON world we like to create solutions, so when you book through us you'll be able to take advantage of the coach pickup and drop off service that will take you from, or near to, your accommodation directly to Orzola in the comfort of an air conditioned coach.
Of course, if you do have a hire car and you want to travel to Orzola yourself then it's also possible to book your tickets through us. The advantage of doing this, instead of simply buying a ticket when you arrive, is that the ferry has limited spaces and it's a busy service with locals making the journey several times a day. So to plan your day, and avoid disappointment at the ticket office, we'd always recommend reserving your places on the ferry to La Graciosa in advance.
Please note, that if you're making your way to Orzola in your own car that the ferry is for foot passengers only, so you will need to leave your car in Orzola. However, don't worry, there is plenty of paid parking available.
The Island of La Graciosa
La Graciosa is a reflection on how life once was in the Canary Islands. Whilst Lanzarote has developed for tourism, La Graciosa has managed to stay away from the development of hotels and even roads. What you see today, is how life was a 100 years ago. There are only around 500 residents on the island however you will find a few restaurants or bars in the small port village of Caleta de Sebo. If you want to post snaps to your Instagram or social media accounts then don't worry, you will be able to get a WiFi connection!.
This excursion simply includes the ferry over to the island of La Graciosa, where you can enjoy free time on the island before catching the return ferry back to Lanzarote. If you want to take advantage of the Catamaran excursions that anchor off the beaches of La Graciosa you need to book them separately.

If you have chosen to take advantage of the comfortable, air-conditioned coach collection and drop-off service then you be in Orzola in time to catch the morning ferry at 11 am and head back to Lanzarote on the 16:00 pm ferry. This gives you a full day exploring, or relaxing, on the island of La Graciosa.
