This is a 4 x 4 jeep tour or 4 x 4 mini van depending on the numbers. The private Lanzarote South tour is guided by experts on the island who will tell you everything you need to know and advise of places to go that conventional Lanzarote tours will not take you. The tour is from 1 to 6 people, if you have any more than 6 you must take more than one vehicle but they are available, also PLEASE NOTE: Solo travelers must book 2 places as there is a minimum of 2 people.
You will be picked up directly at your hotel or accommodation by the tour guide who will be with you for the duration of the tour. From there you will head South towards the Timanfaya National Park area and where most of the Lanzarote attractions in the south are you can choose to go where the guide suggests or tell the guide what you want to see. Entrance to attractions is not included in the price.

Stop 1: The Salt Pans Las Salinas de Janubio
See where the salt pans are in Lanzarote and how the salt is made, this is a great view and you will get some magical photos.
Stop 2: Los Hervideros (subject to it being open)
Next stop if allowed is the Los Hevideros area and the bubbling coastline, there are times this area is closed so your guide will suggest alternatives, this attraction in Lanzarote is free no entrance fee.
Stop 3: The Emerald lake of El Golfo
One of the most famous places in Lanzarote is the emerald lake of El Golfo and again something that is free to the public and a great place to see. Have your cameras at the ready and you may be lucky and find the semi-precious Olivina stones around this area.
Stop 4: Lunch stop
The private Lanzarote tour of the south does not include lunch in the price, but it is your day if you want to stop somewhere just say so. Your guide will suggest the best places for lunch to suit you and your dietary requirements.
Stop 5: Visit Timanfaya National Park a must in Lanzarote
You have to see Timanfaya National Park on any Lanzarote tour, entrance is NOT included in the price but if you want to see the demonstrations and experience the full Timanafaya National Park it is well worth the price. You can request this on the day if you choose and pay for the entrance or your guide will take you to an alternative free place that is not as good but still amazing.
Stop 6: Camel ride of Lanzarote Vineyard
If you want to ride a camel in Lanzarote the price is €12 per camel for two people and your Lanzarote private tour guide will take you there and arrange this for you. You can also if you want to visit one of the Bodegas and wine tasting on your Lanzarote private tour.
